The best feeling after a long and tiring day is to remove my bra and be able to move freely without any constraints. January 2016, I prayed really hard for me to bear another child and I enthusiastically asked for her to be a girl since I already have 3 boys. But due to my condition, it’s nearly impossible to bear another child. I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome₎. I started consulting my ob-gyn and we focused on treating my condition by taking birth control pills and metformin. My hope has already diminished the moment my doctor advised for me to take birth control pills because I know it will prevent me from being pregnant in the years by until such time my condition improves. I was at the lowest point of my life because I was devastated about what I’m going through. But I’m still reminded by how great my life is because I have my 3 sons with me all throughout my journey, my husband who supports me, and a whole family behind my back to make me happy. I was actually already contented with what I have, although my dreams of having another baby, still flashes back into my mind.

With the determination I have to free myself from my current condition, I decided to take small steps to improve and take care of myself. I made sure I only take healthy foods and supplements that might help me conquer my PCOS fight. I took glutathione and folic acid which are both great supplements. I reduced my calorie intake and made the bravest switch to avoid processed foods as much as possible. I also incorporated fruits and vegetables in my diet. I started going to the gym when I have free time and on days where I don’t have the means to go to the gym, I jog for awhile to make sure not to miss out a day of work out. I lived a healthier lifestyle with the goal of one day, hearing from my ob-gyn that I can bear another child and that my PCOS will not limit me anymore.

Until October 2018 came, I was advised by my doctor that I can already stop taking birth control pills and metformin if I really wanted to conceive a child and she prescribed me a pill called CLOMID (an ovulatory stimulating drug used to help women who have problems with ovulation). So many things I took into considerations but I still went for what I want. I stopped taking birth control pills and prayed to God to keep me healthy and fit so I can have at least a slight guarantee for the wish that I have.

I have devoted time and my prayers to the Black Nazarene. My faith was larger than everything I had back then. I also spoke with a lot of friends and family members that gave me the best advices, to always keep my faith and pray.

One of my avid blog readers which turned into a friend, Joan Lizardo, gave me St. Padre Pio Gloves before I left for United States. She reiterated that this will be a catalyst for my prayers to be heard by God. I was really touched by her kind gestures and she even told me she prays for me constantly. I’m very lucky to have such good readers and followers who always pray for me and my dream to bear another child. My mom also brought me holy water and rosary from Vatican when she went to visit Rome.

January 2019, was the year I claim that I’ll be really blessed.

I get to plan for my dream trips around the globe. California, Seattle, Las Vegas, Boston, New York, and Paris had always been my dream destinations. So 2019 was really something to look forward to, it was a year my dreams will finally come true. But I didn’t know it was such a wonderful year that I’d be able to hit two bird in one stone; one dream over another.

I was in California when I took the pregnancy test and poof, it was positive. Tears were really here and there and I am so overwhelmed that I immediately thanked God for his blessings.

Maybe the blows off the candles from every birthday I had worked well in giving me what I always wished for. All the prayers from my friends, readers, and family have been heard by God that he eventually gave me what they prayed for me. It is true. God always provides even if you’re on the lowest stages of your life, he always guarantee another light. Nothing is impossible when God is on your side. It might take time, but if you’re patient about it, he will give you what you’ve prayed for. I am truly blessed, grateful, thankful, and honored. I cannot wait for you to see how beautiful this world is, my child.

I’m looking forward on September to make you feel my love. It just so happened that I’m also a September baby. Purely coincidental but I think it is God’s way of saying, I really deserved you. We prayed hard for your arrival and I can’t thank God enough for doing wonderful favors for me.

This is a great reminder that things might take time. But through prayers and faith, you will be able to make it and achieve whatever dreams or goals you have. Thank you for all the prayers and please continue to pray for me and my baby. May God bless us all.

I have always been a fan of music and I love watching dance performances. So when I was younger, I used to hope for my son or daughter in the future, to love dancing. It’s actually a more personal thing and I know it’s something I can’t have control over. But now that I have my own family, I get to inspire my children to be who they want to be. I disregarded my wishes before, because I want my children to just be who they really are and not force what I want for them. I want them to grow in their own ways with supervision coming from me, instilling to them good morals.

Dance Party

Surprisingly, God must have given me too much favors that I discovered my youngest son, Elijah, has a great passion for dancing. It was only until his last birthday that I discovered he dances gracefully because he requested for us to host a dance party for him. I saw how happy he was with the event and I got to enjoy our time together watching him move and groove to the music.

With this, I decided to help my son grow and develop his skills by enrolling him at Promil I-Shine Talent Camp 7. The camp features a lot of different fields mainly: dance class, music class, theatre class, art class, and theatre class, all of which are spearheaded by notable persons in those field. I enrolled Elijah at the camp of Teacher Georcelle, G-Force Dance class for kids 9 to 11 years old hoping he learns how to work with other kids as they dance their hearts out. Discipline is also one thing to note when learning dance because you have to be cautious about the steps you make so as to avoid accidents, therefore I look forward for my child to be wary of these simple things.

I believe this is one great platform and a great push for my son to develop and nurture his skills so later on, he can carry out what he learned from this camp. As a mother, I play a very vital role in keeping my child contented and happy so I make sure to always give them the best out of everything. I really hope my son gets to enjoy the camp while he learns and be able to pursue what he really wants.
