Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila celebrates A Holly Jolly Christmas: Tree Lighting Ceremony last Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 6 o’clock in the evening marking the start of this joyous season. 

 Experience the spirit of the holiday among thousands of twinkling lights and the 10 feet Christmas tree standing tall with green, red, and white ornaments.

For this year’s tree lighting ceremony, they came up with the theme “A Holly Jolly Christmas” and colors of white, red, and green to represent the hope and passion for new beginnings and undertakings. Its simplicity brings more value than all the fancy decors combined and reminds us the true meaning of Christmas; which is the birth of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, and the hope He brings to us all. Christmas is a time of celebration and happiness as well as giving and sharing blessings to one another. It is about thanking people for the smile they brought into our life. It is about love, forgiveness, of second chances and starting all over again. It is about renewing ones hope, dreams and faith. It is a time to reflect on the significant events we all experienced throughout the year both the good and the bad.
The Christmas tree is a universal symbol of love, hope, and peace that everybody understands. The annual Lighting Ceremony will take place at the lobby of the hotel. It will be a night for family and friends to gather and make special holiday memories together. Special performances from dance groups will be present to entertain us during the night.
