Magnolia Chicken: Pambansang Manok for More Delicious and Nutritious Chicken Recipes

What’s your favorite chicken dish? Do you know the secret to a delicious and appetizing chicken recipe?

I love to cook. I must admit though that I only know how to cook a hand-full of dishes. My all-time favorite? Chicken Adobo! This is the very first chicken dish I learned how to cook, and the only one that I can be proud of. It was my grandma’s recipe, so it’s really special to me and the rest of the family.

Aside from being the most authentic Filipino dish, my (grandma’s) chicken adobo has its signature taste of saltiness and sweetness combined. I also love the tang of laurel leaf in it. To make sure that the freshness of the chicken will not be masked and overwhelmed by all of the flavors, I let the chicken boil in a little amount of water with salt and pepper first. Sometimes, I make some variations by putting pineapple chunks as sweetener instead of sugar, or mix some veggies for some colors and added flavor. You must try it!

And when it comes to the brand we trust, Magnolia Chicken has been part of our family tradition ever since. We are guaranteed that it’s fresh and juicy making our chicken dishes even tastier!
