Make Passion Projects come to life with Canon's newest PIXMA E470 and E410 printers
Gone are the days when we have to worry about access to printers for our documents or photos. There are computer shops in almost every corner now. When I was still studying, I found not having a printer a challenge, especially because I was not anywhere near a computer shop. Now that I have my three school boys and projects and homework require printing jobs to be done, I made it a point to get them a desktop computer, then, eventually, a printer. I used to have their papers or my documents saved in a USB stick, then drive to where I can have anything I need printed out. But, with circumstances changing, I just couldn’t deal with that hassle all the time anymore. For moms like me who are always in the move, it really helps to have a reliable device to make printing as easy as ABC.
Thanks to Canon, the leading digital imaging brand, for introducing PIXMA Ink Efficient E470
I have 3 reasons why I love this Canon printer.
and E410.
I have 3 reasons why I love this Canon printer.
1. Cost Efficiency
Unlike other printers, PIXMA E470 and E410 can print up to 400 black and white full-page documents, and up to 180 pages of colored documents. On top of that, I don’t have to get expensive inks just to guarantee excellent output. These printers are compatible with low-cost ink cartridges while keeping great quality of printouts, regular documents and photos alike. They also have Auto Power On/Off setting, allowing automated power management, shutting down when idle and powering up when a print job is received. Talk about savings, momshies!
2. Wireless and Cloud Accessibility
This feature is really best for me. My laptop and my sons’ desktop computer don’t need to switch physical cables just to connect to the printer. For as long as we have our WIFI connectivity at home, we can get access to the printer whenever we need to print wirelessly. Even without a router, the PIXMA E470 has a built-in WIFI capability that allows wireless connection to mobile devices or laptop computers using its Access Point Mode. Mobile printing is really convenient!
Another great thing about it is that you can print from anywhere! PIXMA E470 is also cloud-aware that it lets you print remotely with the Google Cloud Print service. All you need to do is connect to the internet through supported applications such as Gmail or Google Drive, or from Google Chrome browser in Windows, Macintosh, and Linux platforms. Definitely, a game-changer! Imagine, even if I’m outside and I need some documents ready in hard copies when I get home, I can simply hit the print option on my phone or laptop directly from my email account or browser. It will really save me time.
3. Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY App
These printers can be configured using this downloadable app. From the application, I can print, copy and scan documents and photos on any iOS and Android mobile device with wireless connectivity. Also, I will be able to easily monitor ink level, adjust settings and register to new cloud services if I need to. Since I and my kids love taking pictures, I can print them for my collection and display at home instantly without having to transfer the photos from my phone to my laptop or online accounts just to print them. And with the amazing amount of printouts it can produce, I’ll be able to capture and preserve a lot of our wonderful moments and experiences.
Bottomline, Canon PIXMA Ink Efficient E470 and E410 are really the practical choice for us practical moms. I was lucky enough to be invited to the Canon Pix Mommy Weekend Event where I got to have a first-hand experience in using this lightweight high-end printer.
By the end of the event, I have learned so much and got a lot of tips from fellow mommy bloggers who demonstrated their personal ways of making the most out of these new models.
