LET’S SHOW SOME LOVE WITH #HappySkinXLoveMarie

Here’s some more lippie-lovin’ for you this International Lipstick Day. This time I’ll be introducing Happy Skin’s latest collection, a collaboration with none other than the very pretty Love Marie a.k.a. Heart Evangelista-Escudero.

We know Heart has ventured into more than acting and hosting in the recent years. She’s indeed one of the most talented artists of her generation, her paintings are definitely valuable. 
Now, she has teamed up with Happy Skin to launch the hottest six-piece lippie line, Happy Skin x Love Marie. 

 Not only it features three new shades of Shut Up & Kiss Me Mini Matte Lippies, it also includes a completely new product, the Shut Up & Kiss Me Moisturizing Matte Lip Liners. I love both the lippies and the liners. They blend so well you must have both in your makeup kit. 


I’m super happy with how they’re packed in a girly heart box. It can be a great gift idea, too.

The Shut Up & Kiss Me Mini Matte Lippie is a small 1.7-gram crayon that will surprise you with excellent pigmentation and that perfect matte you’re looking for. And it lasts for hours. Small but terrible indeed! Individually, it costs Php499 only, while a set of three shades can be bought in a heart-shaped box set that will give you some savings at Php1299.

I recommend that you get all three to have more colors to choose from. I like its creamy and non-drying formula, especially because my lips tend to dry up easily.

 Tip: Don't forget to exfoliate! I should have done that before taking all these photos.

Nostalgia, a trendy-yet timeless sepia. As its name suggests, it almost looks old-school to me, which is so classy.


All Heart has the brick red element that suits anytime of the day, and whatever mood you have. A no-makeup-only-lipstick look will definitely rock with this shade. 

Heart’s favorite, and my favorite is New Love. I love its beautiful nude caramel color.

Another way to use it? Wear it under your lipstick, and you’ll love that it can keep the color on your lips long-lasting. The moisture it gives is right what I have been looking for. It feels so smooth to apply and has a suave finish, too. The shades almost match the Mini Matte Lippies. You have to try them both on, they give unique and strong emphasis to your lips when blended.


First Date has this deep voguish pale purple tint.

I like Skinny Dipping the most because it suits the New Love matte shade. The simple and yet dashing peach tint is the go-to bare look.
Heartthrob is a luscious deep red that goes with red, berry & burgundy lippies.
