A WALK WITH BGC STREET ART AND BUTTERFLY TWISTS


Travelling, art appreciation and shoes will always be part of my most favorite things and activities. Well, summer has just gotten better when I learned that I was going to be one of the few who would join Butterfly Twists’ launch of the beautiful Spring Summer ’16 Collection. 
Interestingly, the event held in Bonifacio Global City was a street art appreciation. We were all curious, at first, about what the brand prepared for all of us who were present. I must tell you, it was unique and undoubtedly different from previous occasions I have attended for a footwear blastoff.

The British brand guaranteed an experience that we will never forget. We all had to wear our chosen pair of shoes from the new designs being introduced. The brand offers various designs and style, a wide array of colors and prints, so it can easily be paired to whatever OOTD you’ve got anytime anywhere. Casual slip-ons, skater-style Jade shoes in silhouette, sleek and strappy sandals, pointed flats, and ballerina shoes. Name it, Butterfly Twists has it. They’re all pretty and edgy. My eyes were so happy to see the Spring Summer ’16 Collection, but my feet were more thrilled!
No, we didn’t only get to try them on. I was both beaming and probing when we were told that we have to wear our Butterfly Twists for the entire tour.  Normally, I would wear rubber shoes when I know I have to walk long stretches. So, I thought the task was going to be challenging. 

But true to its promise, my Butterfly Twists were super comfortable and soft, and its high quality will not fail any woman wearing it.






With our happy feet and the summer heat, off we went to our Street Art Appreciation Walk Tour round BGC. I have visited different places in the area before but I didn’t pay close attention to the artworks accentuating the walls after walls. Our tour guide, an artist himself, Dee Jae Paeste gave interesting facts about the street arts, and showed us murals and graffiti that were almost unbelievable. Those paintings are absolutely worthy of spotlight. I was in awe and I loved every stop we made to absorb the magnificence.

I was so grateful because my Butterfly Twists ballerina flats was lightweight and has memory foam insole so my feet didn’t hurt at all. Now, I’m looking forward to buying more pairs. It is versatile enough to be worn from day to night in various occasions. Whether it’s for partying, traveling, driving, or commuting on a daily basis, you can surely find a stylish pair that fits your personality and lifestyle. For someone who travels a lot like me, having foldable shoes is a bonus.
