It was the evening of
December 24th that year. The mood was festive and the sound of chattering
filled my ears. When I was younger and still living with my parents, my family
was as ordinary and simple as it can be. We weren’t very rich nor poor but we
lived quite merrily. I remember that night, my mom was able to prepare a lot of
food for our Noche Buena. But my eyes were drawn to the one viand that made
this occasion extra special, the Holiday
Whole-Meat Ham. It was served with its spot-on sauce and every bite was
very much worth it. Even as the holidays had passed, I was still looking for
its delicious taste. I kept on nagging them to buy another one but it was a bit
pricey to get on an ordinary day. They tried to buy a cheaper brand but it
wasn’t able to do the magic.
You could really taste the difference because Holiday Whole-Meat Ham is made of one
whole boneless meat from the hind leg with no extenders. It is smoked in ham
nets and simmered in a special sauce that gives richer flavor!
Now that, I, myself is a
mother of three amazing boys, I found myself following the tradition of having
ham every Christmas and New Year’s eve. It would forever be my favorite part of
the feast. I even made my own recipe using this precious good.

With only four days left before Christmas, the only thing
left to do for mommies like us is the ever tiring but fun-filled Christmas
shopping. There are different things to shop for but the main struggle is the gift
buying for the oldies and grocery shopping we have to do for our Noche Buena
and feast for Christmas. There are so much things to buy that is why it is
important to go to a place which has everything in it.
There
are several stores to choose from but S&R has always been one of my favorite
places to shop for foods and other goods during the holidays because it
consists of pretty much everything you will ever need in your Christmas table
and in your life. It also never failed to have these great deals which are
perfect gifts that will surely have you jump up and down for excitement. All in
all, shopping in S&R is a thing I look forward to and really enjoy.

My time is best spent with

I prefer having an old fashioned planner because for me, it has a more personalize appeal in such a way it is easier to remember the things you write in it. Plus I like using things for its main function. If I need a planner, I'll use a planner and not some petty app on my mobile phone.

I know running doesn’t really rhyme with my name but in all honesty I love it. I want to do it on a regular basis but my energy isn’t really enough to suffice its requirements. My stamina is weak and I get exhausted pretty darn quick. This is the reason why I have high regards to the people who takes time to jog and run even when they’re already a bit old.
If there is one person I must name for being energetic despite the situation, it would be Kim Atienza or as we all know, Kuya Kim. I never saw him mope around and goes to work with such a low level of energy. He is always this happy intelligent guy that is optimistic about everything.
