I have to admit that it has been a long while since I hit the gym and attended my zumba classes. This is mainly because I've been busy with life and didn't have a fixed routine to upkeep. But now that I'm in my early 30s and my belly, buttocks and thighs are bulging it's probably not the best time to excuse myself from working out. My kids have been bugging me to buy this so-called hoverboard which I then thought only existed in the movies. But they were so persistent that they had me watch this video showing a guy ride his hoverboard which is actually a smart balance-wheel. To me, it basically looked like a segway without a handle.

I am fresh off Malaysia but I still crave for it. I went there for work which was fun but there were still a lot of things I couldn’t do due to lack of time. I had plans but my schedule was full packed which is why I didn’t get to see much of the country because of the activities laid out for us. As a child,
it has always been a hobby of mine to accompany my sister and my grandmother do
our grocery shopping. We always viewed it as some sort of family bonding and it
has always been fun. We used to go to Cherry Foodarama and afterwards eat at a
restaurant. This grocery store was one of my favorite places because it supplied
us our daily needs and some other stuffs that made me happy as a seven year old
girl. All these memories are the reason why I was saddened when I heard it
closed down.

There
is no place like home. This is what I felt when I tasted the food in Kuya J Restaurant. All of the dishes
reminded me that the world has so much else to offer but there is nothing like
Filipino food. I had so much fun eating at Kuya J. The food was amazing and
everything was just right. What I like most about them is they use the freshest
ingredients and they don't try to alter something's flavor. And they did a good
job in that factor. Their fried rice (humbinagoongan & danggit) were
heavenly while the Kare-Kare contained the right amount of peanuts and its meat
was very tender. From Lumpia Presko to Crispy Catfish.
I
was just having the right amount of good time but when the Crispy Pata was
served, fireworks and confetti was fired. I was so pumped to see the very
handsome Jericho Rosales serving us a mouthwatering Crispy Pata.

I wish that I could be forever young but as much as I hate getting older, aging is inevitable. It is a constant reminder that we are no Damon Salvatore nor Edward Cullen because unlike them, we are mortals. It sucks because your skin becomes soggy, your hair gets gray, you become weaker and eventually your health limits you in doing the things you love. I’d like to stop the clock and make time stand still because I know it is the reason why I experience back pain from time to time.
This kind of defects can’t be fix with make-up because it is the inside that needs healing. You need to consult professional doctors in order for you to get better. Health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health is called Chiropractic. Which is what I need for my constant back pain. Chiropractors are very limited here in our country. There are just a few good ones out there and boy was I lucky to meet one of them.
My Chiropractor Dr. George Cromack D.C. graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences, specializing in Spinal Medicine, in 1981. He also completed his post graduate work in Radiology and Sports Medicine, a Master’s Program for Whiplash Injuries, and a Medical Fellowship in Acupuncture.
