located just outside the events space offers stunning views of Manila Bay and

Ortiz, venue manager of The Venue at the Prism Plaza, says the events place can
be dressed up depending on the needs of a client. It has sleek lines, white
walls and an open ceiling that serve as a blank canvas for whatever look you
may want for your affair. With two halls totaling 500-square meters in size,
the space could be enlarged or made smaller as the need arises.
Since the
events place opened in 2012, it has been host to a number of corporate and
private events, including birthdays and debuts, wedding receptions and
anniversaries, baptismal and engagement parties, corporate parties and
launches, sales rallies, meetings and conferences.
When booked
jointly, the two halls have a capacity for 280 guests for a banquet setting and
350 guests for cocktails. On the other hand, Hall 1 can accommodate as many as
220 guests for a cocktail setup, while Hall 2 can fit 150 guests for cocktails.
Both halls have adjoining VIP lounges, which could also be booked separately
for private events, such as bridal showers and intimate parties.
If you want a
bigger space for your gathering, the Prism Plaza Central, which is the
courtyard of TwoE-ComCenter, is also available for functions. It can room 300
guests in a banquet setting, while it can fit in 400 guests for cocktails.
Ortiz says The Venue at the Prism Plaza is
perfect for late afternoon events, particularly wedding receptions, to maximize
the view of the sunset. Some events may even take advantage of the fireworks
show held at the SM by the Bay on Friday and Saturday nights. In fact, the
venue was quite popular for events that coincided with the recent Philippine
International Pyromusical Competition held at the complex. The open-air garden
outside the venue offers guests a vantage point from which they could enjoy the
show.
Apart from
hall use, Ortiz says The Venue at the Prism Plaza has a number of packages that
make booking an event at the venue easy and hassle-free. Clients can choose
from a variety of packages, inclusive of catering and physical arrangements,
and sometimes even entertainment. It offers packages for corporate events,
meetings, and even children’s parties.
When it comes
to location, The Venue at the Prism Plaza is near to major churches in Manila,
such as the Manila Cathedral, Ermita and Malate churches, and the Archdiocesan
Shrine of Jesus, which is in the MOA Complex.
Parking is
also not a problem, since there is a large guarded parking space just outside
the TwoE-ComCenter, as well as parking inside the building. For those who need
to shop for a last-minute gift before the event, the SM Mall of Asia is just a
stone’s throw away.
Ortiz says
the venue is busy with wedding receptions from December to February, while it
receives a number of corporate bookings from August to October.
She advises
prospective clients to book their reservations early to be able to take
advantage of good dates in the future.
