I was lucky, all three of my children have been conceived without trying. We were guilty of the "not trying" but not preventing. We got pregnant with our first immediately when I was only 18 years old. With our second it took 5 years, but with our third, we again got pregnant immediately after less than a year then I was in birth control for 5 years. We are going to plan to get pregnant again hopefully this year and hoping for a girl, but whatever God gives us is a gift that I will cherish in my heart forever ♥
Several of my friends have had troubles conceiving, with several of them having to take medications and see specialists and still no positive test. It makes my heart ache for them, and makes me incredibly grateful to have been blessed with three children with very little effort or heartache.
When a couple is trying to conceive, it is best that a woman knows when she is ovulating. So how does a woman know if she’s ovulating or not?
Our friends in www.diaperchamp.com have several ways to use to check if a woman is ovulating or not. A woman may use an ovulation predictor kit (OPK) to know when she is ovulating.
An OPK is similar to a pregnancy test except that it detects ovulation instead of pregnancy. A woman ovulates midway through her cycle. She can take the test around day 7 (with cycle day one being the first day of her period) and continue testing until she gets a positive result. Another way to check for ovulation is by using a BBT thermometer. A woman can start charting her temperature twice daily, before going to sleep and after wake, and when she sees a sudden drop on her temperature, that’s when she is ovulating.
Good luck and Congratulations Mom to be! During this special phase of your life take care and relax ….. because when the little one comes you will hardly get time to rest. No matter how you feel now, the baby will bring you lots of joy when he/she arrives! May God bless you with a happy healthy pregnancy.
