Staying at Azumi Boutique Hotel
I received an invitation from the Azumi marketing officer for a complimentary overnight stay at one of their hotels a few weeks ago. With no hesitations I accepted the invite. The timing could not be more perfect. Euryd, my husband is leaving for Cambodia in a week. What better way to spend a night than staycation in a relaxing and beautiful place like Azumi Boutique Hotel.
They have the usual schedule, check-in at 2pm and check-out at 12pm.

RECEPTION
The staffs at the reception were very helpful, courteous and friendly. We had a smooth, fast and efficient check-in. We were requested an incidental deposit in the amount of Php1000, and asked to sign a waiver. We were then handed the electronic key cards, breakfast vouchers and free Wi-Fi log-in details.
LOBBY
An array of books, photos, cozy furnishings and other travel mementos make such a unique and picturesque welcome for the guests at the lobby.
For security purposes, guests need to swipe their key card at the elevator to access the floor where the assigned room is. In no time, we were in our Garden Room located at the 5th floor.
THE BED
Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. I love the comfortable rooms that are characterized by use of earth tones with a distinct pop of orange, wood laminate floors and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors create a feeling of open space and also allow one to appreciate the cityscape. This Garden Room is so cozy and perfect for intimate relaxation. It has a small living area with a day bed and queen size bed that fits us perfectly. I felt so good I was pretty sure we’d sleep comfortably.

This room is perfect for honeymooners or if you are couple (romantic, right?). The privacy in the transparent glass wall in the bathroom was a bit awkward if you are with friends or other family members. You do not want to show yourself while taking a shower or using the toilet, do you?

CONCERNS:
• No bidet in the toilet
• The Pool was cold; I wish they can do something to make it warm.
• Pool safety- I suggest that they will put like a glass wall because the whole time we were in the pool, I was really scared that someone might fall from it.
• Privacy- I hope they can put alternative cover in the transparent glass wall in the bathroom.
