When you wake up to find a big
angry pimple on your face, you may be tempted to pop it, dry it out, then apply
concealer, hoping that no one will notice it.
But did you know that doing that can lead to infection, making your
pimple bigger and angrier than ever?
Popping a pimple makes it an open wound, and putting makeup on broken
skin is never a good idea. Also, a lot of makeup can clog pores, which is
really the reason for pimples and blemishes in the first place.
If you really want to cover up
your pimple with makeup, the first step is to NOT pop the pimple to keep the
skin intact. Next, go through your usual cleanse-tone-moisturize regimen, to
prepare your face to be made up. Wash
your hands too, to make sure that they’re clean before you touch your pimple.
Before even applying your makeup, check to see that the makeup you use is
oil-free and non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog your pores), so that it doesn’t make
your pimple even worse.
Before using any makeup on your face, use an
acne-clearing product like the new CĂ©leteque DermoScience Acne Solutions Acne-Clearing
Concealer, to protect and treat the pimple before putting on other layers.
The CĂ©leteque Acne-Clearing Concealer is
different from regular concealers because it has Salicylic acid that opens up
pores and exfoliates the dead skin cells, and Camellia sinensis extract that has soothing and antibacterial
properties to treat the pimple. It’s very easy to apply because of the pointed
tip!
Once you’ve treated and covered
the pimple, go on and apply your foundation, blending it into the sides of the
pimple. Remember that shine actually accentuates the pimple, so apply matte
powder to set your foundation.
A makeup
artist trick is to use a Hydrating Mist over your powder for a more natural
finish.
Of course, an ounce of prevention
is worth a pound of cure, so it’s better to have a skin care routine that will
clear up your skin in the first place.
Check out the CĂ©leteque Acne Solutions line that has been clinically
tested to make skin 80% clearer in just 2 weeks!

That is such a nice product from Celeteque. I agree with you that pimples should not just be concealed, but rather it should be treated. Because if not, it would really cause more problems. I don't have much problem though with pimples as I don't get them alot, and if I do it goes away fast. :) So I just do the normal face wash.
ReplyDeleteWell that one suits for me.Pimple became one of my problem this past few months..tsk.stk. This is really helpful sis. ^^
ReplyDeleteFirst time to heard about this concealer, and just wow, it looks super effective! I always break out whenever Im stressed and sleep late and I really hate it when Im waking up with tiny bumps around my forehead and cheeks. :o I tend to pop it out and ended up having pimple marks after. :( Good thing this concealer is just awesome! Salicylic acid x Covering up those marks is just amazing! I hope I would see this product once I go to mall, this product is something to try for. Love it!
